Our Little Girls

This is our first official family blog! 

Our little girls had their 15 month and 2 month check-ups today! They both got a few immunizations, and were both not very happy when we left the doctor's office.  Annabella weighs almost 22 pounds and is 32 inches tall; which puts her in the 25th percentile for weight and more than the 90th percentile for height! I guess she takes after her dad :) Little Lillian weighed in at 11 pounds 7 ounces and 23 inches which put her in the 50th percentile for both height and weight...she's perfectly average.  

Annabella is walking around everywhere and is getting into everything.  She loves Yo Gabba Gabba and especially imitating Brobee (one of the characters) who dances and waves his arms around.  She likes riding her new rocking cow (thanks grandma and grandpa curtis!) and mooing while she does it.  She LOVES books and reading and is constantly bringing us books so we can read to her.  She is a very big helper and likes to give her little sister bottles and to help burp her.  She is starting to talk a lot...sometimes she knows what she's saying, but it's a foreign language to us! She says Dad-dee best and has learned to say STOP! She absolutely loves all animals and is getting very good at making animal noises when she sees them. She likes calling her grammy on the phone, every time she sees the phone we have to call her.  She turns everything into a phone...remote controls, phones, her hand...it's very cute. Aunt Murf came with us to the Santa Claus parade and we had so much fun.  

Little Lillian is such a strong baby! She holds her head up for long periods of time and can even sit up pretty steadily with a little support.  She likes her musical bouncy seat and her swing.  She is very alert when she's awake and loves making eye contact with people.  Smiling is her favorite and she is starting to coo--so adorable! She is sleeping through the night (yay!) but takes a little while to get calmed down for the night.
